Hurricane Matthew Post-Event Follow Up

FMIT Damage Assessment Teams Currently on the Ground Working with FMIT Members Who Have Requested Assistance.

FMIT Members Needing Assistance Identifying Damages That Have Not Already Spoken to FMIT Should Call 844.FMIT.CAT (844.364.8228). Report All Damages to Insured Property as FEMA Assistance May Be Available for Losses That do not Meet Your Deductible.

FEMA – Presidential Declaration (EM-3377) For Government To Provide Support for Emergency Protective Measures. This Does NOT Include Public Assistance Funds for Recovery. Members Should Work With Their County to Report Damages to Residential and Public Assets. Please Copy propclaim@flcities.com For All Insured Property Damages That Are Being Reported to Your County.

FMIT Member Preparedness Actions

  • The FMIT Claims Team is currently receiving Rapid Damage Assessments from Members affected by Matthew, the most common being roof damage from severe winds.
  • Any Members who believe they have damage to insured assets need to perform Damage Assessments as soon as it is safe to do so and report them to FMIT.
  • Members should make sure that they have downloaded their most recent Insurance Policy from FMIT and from other Insurers.
  • Make sure that all Damage Assessment Team Members have downloaded “TrackDown – Government Edition” from the Google Play Store or the Apple iTunes Store and have logged in prior to the storm using your organization’s Username and Password.
  • Members should familiarize themselves on the steps for performing Damage Assessments using TrackDown by Clicking Here.
  • TrackDown user information is being emailed to Members and will continue as long as necessary.
  • If you have not yet received your TrackDown username and password, please email trackdown@synergyid.com to request it.
  • Please report all damages to buildings and other property to FMIT using one of the following options below:

  • Call 844-FMIT-CAT (844-364-8228) to report any losses to your insured property and activate the FMIT Turnkey Recovery program for immediate response to any property losses you may have incurred. Also:
  • Go online: http://insurance.flcities.com and login to your account and submit your loss notice(s). FMIT and Synergy are immediately notified of your loss submittal.
