It’s been wonderful working with FMIT on this project. We’ve gotten extraordinary cooperation from the staff and from the SynergyNDS crew, they’ve been wonderful to work with. Things have gone very smoothly, and I couldn’t be more pleased. On behalf of the city of Williston we are just very happy with the outcome of this project.

We recently had a flooding event here in Pensacola, Florida. It was catastrophic, FEMA came in and established it as a natural disaster. We’re proud to tell you that being partners with FMIT and the Florida League of Cities has been a life saver for us because they’ve come in, they’ve supported us through the recovery effort, through mitigation and start for our build back. We are so proud and pleased to be partners with FMIT and the Florida League of Cities.

We got the schedule of all of our properties and lights and parks and really just got that up and running and a tornado hit Oakland Park. SynergyNDS was there before I was there the next day, had everything assessed, we put the damages into the system and it worked great.

We’ve been a long-standing partner with SynergyNDS and the FMIT and personally I like the stability. There have been a lot of company mergers and acquisitions and it’s great for me to know that when we need them during a hurricane situation or a natural disaster that FMIT is going to be there when my city and population needs them most.

Recently, the city of Marianna had a tornado touch down at its municipal airport. The tornado destroyed approximately three aircraft and also took the roof off of several facilities. SynergyNDS was prepared to issue a couple of checks to a contractor and a vendor to make temporary repairs to our facilities. The city was very pleased and we had great service from the Florida League of Cities and FMIT, we’re very pleased.

FMIT and SynergyNDS have done a tremendous job for our community, for our residents of Area Housing, and for the staff of Area Housing as well. This has been a very remarkable successful experience. It’s an effort of collaboration, it’s an effort of humanitarian efforts, and as a group, as a community, along with every helping hand, we are very successful.

In every case, SynergyNDS responded and reacted outstandingly. From start to finish, even where we stand today with the start of the reconstruction process, we from the NASA side of the house don’t have one single bad word to say about how things have been handled. We feel very pleased and very confident that it will be returned back to service better than it was before.

As one of the states leading emergency officials, I know how important it is to work with our partners across the state before, during, and after a disaster. Working with the Florida Division of Emergency Management and FEMA, the Florida Municipal Insurance Trust and SynergyNDS have helped support their insured public entities reclaim millions of dollars after previous disasters. Through involvement in FDEM exercises such as the statewide hurricane exercise and by having a proactive response and recovery program, the FMIT can insure that Floridians are best positioned to recover quickly after a disaster.

One of the most important things that happened immediately after the Pensacola flood was the Florida League of Cities and SynergyNDS were on the ground with my team to make sure that the citizens of Pensacola were taken care of and they had their central needs and I think that we’ve worked together as a team. But most importantly, making them feel comfortable and getting back to normalcy in their day to day lives.

As a former FEMA Director, I understand the results of catastrophic, devastating events and their effects on the livelihood of individuals. SynergyNDS provided immediate response after Hurricane Katrina ravaged New Orleans and was instrumental in the revitalization of the Florida communities damaged by the four hurricanes in 2004. SynergyNDS strives for excellence and without a doubt will remain a leader in the restoration industry for years to come.
